Bowling For Soup Announce October Tour

Texan four piece Bowling For Soup have announced their return to the UK in the form of ‘The Bid Farewell Tour’.

The tour kicks off on October 10th 2013 at Southampton Guildhall and will come to an end at The Forum, London on October 23rd 2013.

Presale begins at 09:00 on Wednesday 10th April via Ticketmaster.

LIT ANNOUNCE LONDON HEADLINE SHOW

Lit announce their long-awaited return to the UK for a special, one-off headline gig in Camden, London. The platinum-selling Orange County rock band will play Koko on Thursday, June 13th with support from Patent Pending and Blacklist Royals. The band then head to Castle Donington to play Download Festival on June 15th.

Black Sabbath Announce UK Arena Tour

Black Sabbath have announced that they will play a UK arena tour in December. Ozzy and co will take comeback album 13 on the road, kicking off with a date at London’s O2 Arena on December 10 and ending with a homecoming concert at Birmingham’s LG Arena on December 20.

Former Coheed and Cambria bassist Michael Todd is battling cancer

Former Coheed and Cambria bassist Michael Todd is battling a resurgence of testicular cancer.

Sadly, his cancer has spread and his medical costs are mounting. His supporters have launched a fundraising campaign to help defray some of his increasing medical bills. The campaign aims to raise money to not only help Michael get the treatment and medications he needs to fight the cancer, but to help him regain his independence. To put a roof over his head so that he has his own bed from which he can fight.

Frank Turner has announced details of his upcoming album and a UK tour

After a hugely successful 2012, Frank Turner has made it clear he will not be letting up steam this year by announcing details of his forthcoming album, plus a short run of UK headline shows.

On 22nd April 2013 Frank will release his highly anticipated fifth studio album; ‘Tape Deck Heart’. Two versions of the album will be released; a regular version and a special edition version which will feature six extra songs and special packaging. 

To celebrate the release of ‘Tape Deck Heart’, Frank and his band The Sleeping Souls will do a short run of headline shows in the UK. The shows go on sale on Friday 25th January, however, fans who pre-order any format of the new album via frank-turner.com will be given exclusive access to tickets 48 hours before they go on general sale.

Black Sabbath Announce Album Title

Legendary rockers Black Sabbath have announced the title of their upcoming album; ’13’. 

’13’ is the first studio album that Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler have recorded together since 1978’s ‘Never Say Die!’. The album has been produced by Grammy Award Winning producer Rick Rubin and is set to be released in June.

 

Planes Announce UK Tour

After having a bit of a break, Planes have announced a highly anticipated UK tour. Planes; who are fronted by Placebo drummer Steve Forrest, released their debut EP last summer to critical acclaim and will shortly be releasing their follow up record.

The Next Big Thing

Have a listen to ‘It Keeps Me Alive’ by The Next Big Thing finalist; Johnny Lucas. This song is due to become Johnny’s debut single, with a video being released shortly.
